Hi, I've finally gotten around to writing a review for Bakuman 2. The last episode premiered in Japan on March 25th. The show followed the manga really well, I can't seem to recall many fillers. As expected from the creators of
Death Note, the story captures a reader with things you wouldn't except like when Moritaka was in the hospital, or how Ashirogi wanted to quit creating
Vroom! Tanto Daihatsu. I personally love the stories inside of the show, especially
CROW and
Future Watch. The graphics are amazing in this show. I love the music and Japanese cast, they are as important to the show as the story. The characters are very well developed, we saw more of Miho and Kaya's personalities, as well as what they do. I really liked how in the end of the series, they 'rewound' to where Eiji and Ashirogi are rivals. I believe the story has so much potential and can go in many different ways. I am not completely up to date on the latest chapter, because every where I try to read it online says that it is copyrighted (If you know a website that does have it, please tell me in the comments, thank you!). I really can't wait to see if it follows the manga, or not. I would like to hear your thoughts on the "Perfect Crime Party" and what you think of it (please no spoilers, don't ruin it for the other viewers, or me!) Bakuman 3 is scheduled to start in October of 2012. I'm sorry, my next reviews will be longer, make more sense, and be worth while to read, but I am running out of time please comment below!
Tribute to Bakuman-
For those who didn't know, the amazing manga Bakuman has ended. I would like to say that I really did expect more from the authors of such a popular hit Death Note. It's not really avoidable to get cancelled if the ratings start to fall though. I do love the authors, and hope to see more from them, knowing how hard it actually is to write manga. Even though the story has ended, I made myself a
CROW T-shirt, and can't wait for Bakuman 3.
